This is the heart-stopping moment a kidnap victim took matters into his own hands by leaping from a first-floor window into a tree – before running away and chancing upon a police car on patrol.
The victim, who was targeted following the breakdown of a past relationship, had been lured to an address in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, on July 4 last year, before being held by a gang against his will.
