Five people have been arrested after a man in his 50s was found dead inside a house.
Police were called to a property in High Street in Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, on the afternoon of September 2 after someone reported a concern for the man’s welfare.
Officers discovered the body of a man in his 50s who is believed to have died a number of days before he was found.
Detectives from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit opened a murder investigation after a postmortem examination on September 3 at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
The squad have made five arrests in connection with the investigation.
