Anti-traveller campaigner is sued by couple who bought his £3m home after he ‘failed to mention the caravan site popping up next door’

When Jamie and Eda Pierce bought their dream home in the country it must have seemed almost too good to be true.

The immaculate five-bedroom manor-house-style residence, set in seven acres of established gardens and grounds, came complete with a swimming pool, tennis court, paddocks and stables.

It even has its own helipad.

When the high-flying couple, both company directors, completed the purchase of the property for an agreed price of £3.15million on August 23, 2022, they appeared to have secured themselves a bargain.

They managed to knock £245,000 off the asking price after previous owners Paul and Elizabeth Nott put the property on
