Nicole Kidman has shared how battling a childhood stutter affected her acting career as she revealed the technique she used to overcome it. 

The Australian actress, 59, had a stutter when she was around four to six years old and says it is probably one of the reasons she is so softly spoken. 

And now, in an interview with Attitude Magazine ahead of the release of Practical Magic 2, Nicole confessed that when she was younger: ‘I’d try to speak and it wouldn’t come out.’
