Every expanding business hits a decisive crossroad. For Bristol Beer Factory, an independent craft brewery established in the early days of the UK’s craft beer movement, that moment arrived when demand simply outpaced physical capacity.

“When I joined here, I think I was the fifth or sixth employee,” recalls Sam Burrows, managing director of Bristol Beer Factory. “They made a beer called Independence and another one called Southeville Hop.
