A British expat who left Sydney to return to his idyllic seaside hometown has revealed he realised life at home hadn’t been the same.
Fraser, 25, moved back to St Ives in Cornwall to be closer to his family after living in Australia for two years, having grown increasingly distressed by watching his parents and younger brother grow older from the other side of the world.
He had missed birthdays and Christmases, longed for proper fish and chips and English beer, and wanted the luxury of being able to simply ‘pop home’ to see the people he loved.
