Good Morning Britain‘s Kate Garraway apologised to viewers before being taken off air after losing her voice during the live ITV show.
The broadcaster, 59, battled a hoarse throat as she delivered Monday morning’s news stories, and the issue got worse as the programme went on, as anchor Susanna Reid, 55, told viewers Kate had gone home, with journalist Faye Barker stepping in.
Before reading the news, Kate said: ‘I must apologise to you, I’m so sorry. I’m in absolutely no pain, I don’t feel unwell, but I talked way too much last week.
