Trump responds to Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer’s desperate plea for a pardon

Donald Trump hopes prosecutors can ‘work something out’ with Lindsay Clancy to avoid a second trial after her lawyer begged him for a pardon.

Clancy is accused of murdering her three young children by strangling them with exercise bands at their home in Duxbury, Massachusetts, in January 2023.

Her lawyers admitted during the trial that she killed Cora, five, Dawson, three, and 18-month-old Callan, but argued she was insane and thus not legally culpable.

After the trial ended with a hung jury on September 4, lead defense attorney Kevin Reddington repeatedly begged Trump to pardon Clancy, 36.
