An Anthropic staffer has quit his job and issued a chilling warning over the rapid progress in Al which he fears could kill humanity as soon as 2030.
Jacob Coxon, who helped train the latest versions of AI at San Francisco-based Anthropic, urged the public to ‘not underestimate’ its power – particularly if it becomes ‘superintelligent’.
