Staying trim, fit and healthy is no longer just determined by what you eat.  Scientists are increasingly concerned with when you eat, too. 

A growing body of evidence suggests that eating the majority of calories as early as possible in the day could accelerate weight loss, lower blood pressure and keep you fuller for longer.

Last year, scientists from Slovenia found restricting meals to an 8am to 4pm window resulted in 10 pounds weight loss over three months, as well as reduction in body fat and stabilised blood sugar levels. 

Critics say the effect is merely a result of fitting in fewer calories
