A 48-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman, 74, was found dead following reports of a domestic incident.
Carole Langley’s body was found at an address in Portsmouth, Hampshire, on Monday morning.
Hampshire Police rushed to the house on Cyprus Road following a call about a ‘domestic incident’. It was here that Ms Langley was pronounced dead.
Now, Scott Langley, of Southsea in Hampshire, has been charged with murder and will remain in police custody before he appears at Portsmouth Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
Ms Langley’s next of kin has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
