Tesla Semi electric truck to hit Europe’s roads next year with 342-mile range

Tesla has revealed specification details for its new Semi electric HGV, which will offer up to 342 miles of range.

Elon Musk’s EV brand is finally bringing its electric truck, designed for long-haul haulage, to Europe almost a decade after it was first unveiled.

The Texas-based manufacturer says the Semi is ‘more powerful and more efficient than traditional trucks while costing less’ to operate.

The European version of the Tesla Semi will support Tesla’s Megacharging technology, which can deliver charging speeds of up to 1,200kW, adding around 60 per cent charge in just 30 minutes to get drivers back on the road quickly.
