Heartbroken father of tragic Noah Woods pays tribute to ‘sweetest and most innocent boy’ after police find body in lake

The father of Noah Woods has described him as ‘the sweetest and most innocent boy’ after the youngster is believed to have drowned in a pond after running away from a relative. 

The three-year-old was last seen alive on Tuesday afternoon when he raced away from a play area for under fives in the village of Brantham, Suffolk.

The disappearance of Noah, who headed down an alleyway leading towards woodland and a large pond, sparked a huge search involving hundreds of volunteers, police, Coastguards and firefighters.
