Flights in Britain were disrupted again today after another air traffic control ‘technical issue’ – as the Prime Minister refused to back the beleaguered boss of National Air Traffic Services.
Airports in Scotland and northern England including Glasgow and Manchester were the worst affected, but disruption was also reported at London City, Luton and Belfast.
Some 35 flights leaving the UK were cancelled or did not fly – while 37 scheduled to arrive in Britain were axed, according to the aviation analytics firm Cirium.
