A doctor has been accused of directing the murders of six people, including a young woman and her baby, during the 1994 Rwandan genocide in what prosecutors say is the first UK case involving alleged genocide offences committed in the African country.
Dr Vincent Brown, formerly known as Dr Vincent Bajinya, is accused of being a ‘leader’ or ‘supervisor’ of violent acts allegedly carried out by other people during the bloodshed.
