Music legend Lionel Richie is back in the hospital after suffering another heart issue just three weeks after falling ill on-stage.
The 77-year-old singer is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment for atrial fibrillation, which is an irregular heartbeat.
Richie’s representative told the Daily Mail: ‘Lionel underwent a common procedure for Atrial fibrillation (AFib).
‘The doctor said everything went perfectly. Lionel is doing great but will take some time off and will be back on stage soon.’
As a result of his latest medical issue, the musician has been forced to cancel his next three concerts with Earth, Wind & Fire.
