Jurors for killer mom Lindsay Clancy‘s trial allegedly broke court rules by using their phones to research the case during deliberations, according to the holdout juror.
A spokesperson for sole dissenting juror Michael P. Desronvil has accused several other members of the jury of violating court orders by using their cellphones, according to NewsNation reporter Brian Entin.
Jurors are tasked with coming to a verdict on a person’s guilt or innocence based solely on what they see and hear in the courtroom.
Some information is considered inadmissible, and researching the trial may taint a juror’s view of the case, so it is strictly prohibited.
