Phil Mickelson entered an addiction treatment center amid ongoing personal issues, according to a report.
The professional golfer, 56, is said to have checked into the undisclosed facility recently to seek ‘treatment for family trauma and addiction,’ a spokesperson for Mickelson told TMZ.
The six-time major champion, who has previously opened up on his struggles with a gambling addiction, is believed to have already left the center.
The Daily Mail has contacted Mickelson’s representatives for comment.
The news comes after Mickelson stepped away from professional golf on the LIV Golf circuit and at this year’s major championships.
