Up to 54 people and 20 companies could be charged over the Grenfell Tower fire after the Met Police submitted files to prosecutors.
Scotland Yard announced today it handed over a tranche of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service.
The 20 files include 14 overarching evidence files, and more than 12,600 pages and 45,000 documents, images and exhibits.
Investigators are asking prosecutors to consider charges including corporate manslaughter, gross negligence manslaughter, health and safety offences, fraud and fraud-related offences and misconduct in public office.
Decisions are expected before the 10th anniversary of the blaze next summer.
