Pro-Israel groups told they ‘are not welcome’ at march to remember East London blackshirts battle

It was the day East End Jews stood shoulder to shoulder with their neighbours to drive Oswald Mosley’s blackshirts off the streets.

But 90 years since the Battle of Cable Street, pro-Israel Jewish groups have been branded ‘fascists’ and told they are not welcome at an anniversary march by hard-Left activists being held today.

Jewish Anti-Zionist Action, a group which says ‘there is no antifascism without anti-Zionism’, declared on Instagram that ‘fascists aren’t welcome at the antifascist march’.

The face of the campaign is Talia Woodin, 27, a former Extinction Rebellion co-ordinator who posted ‘ding dong the witch is dead’ when Queen Elizabeth
