US removes all B-1 bombers from UK air base amid safety concerns after suspected terror plot

The United States has decided to remove all of its B-1 bombers from an air base in the United Kingdom following a suspected terror plot in the country.

Around a dozen American bombers were stationed at the RAF Fairford air base, located northwest of London, until the Pentagon made the move on Sunday.

The air base was used as a hub for launching bomber strikes in Iran.
