Lawyer for one of the Cornell 7 says New York Attorney General Letitia James should step down after stating allegations made against them as facts

A lawyer for one of the seven Cornell fraternity brothers accused of alleged sexual assault has called on New York Attorney General Letitia James to step down after she stated allegations made against them as facts. 

Andrew Miltenberg, who represents Gillio Lopes, a Chi Phi member named in a recent lawsuit, slammed James while speaking about the social media post she made about the case before she was appointed the special prosecutor. 

All of the accused have denied any wrongdoing and have not been charged with a crime. The incident took place in 2024, but the Tompkins County district attorney declined to
