Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko‘s daughter Kaya, 11, appeared remotely at a court hearing on Thursday – where her father was awarded temporary guardianship of her estate.
Panettiere died aged 36 on August 16 at a residence in Greenville, South Carolina, from the ‘toxic effects’ of multiple drugs – including fentanyl. Her death was accidental.
She is survived by Kaya, whom she welcomed during her nine-year romance with ex-fiance Klitschko, 50.
Last month, to protect daughter Kaya’s inheritance as the sole beneficiary of Panettiere’s reported $6 million estate, Klitschko filed a petition in Los Angeles to become the temporary guardian of his only child’s estate.
