A manhunt has been launched for a violent inmate after he escaped a medical institution.
Anthony Lloyd, 38, was last seen at around 4.10pm on Friday after forcing his way out of the unit in Lewisham in South London and heading in the direction of Catford.
The Metropolitan Police said he ‘poses a risk both to himself and the public’.
Lloyd, around 5ft 8in, of medium build with short dark hair, was wearing a grey-blue t-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and white trainers, police said.
The force has warned members of the public not to approach him.
It is understood the prisoner was convicted in 2025
