Ellen DeGeneres has been blasted on social media for her $5k donation to the late executive producer of her talk show who passed away suddenly aged 52.
The 68-year-old media personality – who posted a video of herself sobbing while reacting to the news of his death – was one of the many who contributed to the GoFundMe set up for Matthew Wright’s family.
It remains uncertain what Wright had passed from but the fundraiser description said he died of an ‘unfathomable tragedy’ in Los Angeles.
