Coffee CEO has his fate sealed after drowning his own daughter, 9, in shallow swamp to get revenge on his ex-wife

Coffee magnate Luciano Frattolin has been found guilty of drowning his nine-year-old daughter in a shallow swamp in what prosecutors described as a brazen attempt to get revenge on his ex-wife.

The 46-year-old founder of organic coffee brand Gambella was swiftly convicted on Monday of second-degree murder and concealment of a body charges in connection with his daughter Melina’s death last year, the New York Post reports.

Frattolin, of Montreal, Canada, had taken Melina on a trip across the Northeast United States in the summer of 2025 in what prosecutors claimed was a ploy to kill his daughter.
