Moment hundreds of migrants try to storm Ceuta in second ‘invasion’ attempt before being beaten back and arrested by riot police

Hundreds of migrants were seen trying to storm Ceuta in a second planned invasion of the Spanish territory before they were intercepted by riot police.

Huge crowds of men were seen storming the border crossing at the northern tip of the African continent.

It comes just two weeks after 72,000 people swam around the border from Morocco to the Spanish enclave and arrived on the beach, with 145 dying in the process.

Morocco’s Le360 media outlet reported that at least 300 people were arrested, 46 of them Moroccan and the rest from sub-Saharan Africa.
