A horrified tourist was left aghast after being given a receipt from a restaurant saying ‘burn the eggs and spit on them’ after she asked for her eggs to be well-cooked.
Speaking to Italian paper Corriere, Brazilian tourist Maria Clara recounted the distressing moment at the restaurant in Romagna, Italy.
‘I was polite. I simply asked if it was possible to have the eggs a little more cooked,’ she said.
Ms Clara claims she was very rudely told they did not make raw eggs when she asked for the eggs to be less runny.
