One person remains missing after devastating flash floods ripped through the Grand Canyon, where officials rescued 80 hikers and recovered the bodies of two.
Parts of the scenic canyon were hit by significant flash flooding on Saturday around 2.30pm, sweeping hikers and backpackers off the trails near the Colorado River.
Search crews then used night vision goggles and other equipment to find people who needed to be rescued during the deluge, Incident Commander Dave Black said at a news conference Monday night.
