Jeremy Clarkson, Sir Stephen Fry and other top figures have called on the new health secretary to ‘change the story on prostate cancer‘ and reverse the ‘wrong’ decision to restrict screening.

Former prime ministers Lord David Cameron and Rishi Sunak are among those who have signed the letter to Yvette Cooper, who was appointed to the role in July.

They say they are all ‘united by a shared belief that no man in this country should die of a cancer that could have been caught in time’.
