These days, there’s various phone numbers, websites and apps to navigate before you get booked in, and then there’s the task of locating the newly-erected community clinic. 

Not to mention finding a suitable time during the week that fits around work and family schedules. 

But soon, this laboriousness could be over.

Experts in Britain have developed a DIY machine that they hope can spot the early signs of everything from cancer to nutrient deficiencies from the comfort of your living room.
