According to royal sources, it was reported last week, a ‘thanksgiving service’ could be held on or around August 31 next year to mark 30 years since the death of Princess Diana, with both brothers in attendance. The King is said to have raised no objection and is understood to be determined to see his sons reunited. Any father facing serious illness, as he has, would want to know his children will be there for one another when he’s gone.
