United Airlines flight forced to make emergency landing after ‘passenger ranting in Russian tried to storm cockpit’

A United Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after an unruly passenger allegedly tried to storm the cockpit. 

United UA2005 departed Chicago and was half way into its journey to Minneapolis on Friday night when it diverted to Dane County Regional Airport in Madison, Wisconsin

The emergency landing came after an individual on board became disruptive, according to airline officials. 

Several passengers said on social media that the as-yet unidentified hostile flier was ranting in Russian during the mid-flight struggle. 

An image taken on board showed a man in a blue shirt being escorted off the aircraft by several police officers.
