Two men have been arrested by police looking into an NHS trust at the centre of Britain’s largest maternity scandal.
The men, aged 55 and 59, were held in connection with operating practices at the mortuary service provided by Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust.
The trust is at the centre of Britain’s largest maternity scandal with a report due out on Wednesday expected to reveal the trust hid staff blunders and dismissed mothers’ concerns during an institutional cover-up of baby deaths.
