Drunk plumber on BA flight to Las Vegas for stag do is fined £3k after he insisted on using toilet before take-off and hurled abuse at staff

A drunk plumber who hurled abuse at British Airways staff heading for Las Vegas has been fined more than £3,000. 

Emmet Moynihan, 31, insisted on using the toilet as the plane remained grounded at Heathrow due to delays on August 6.  

Footage shows the Irishman, who was heading stateside for a stag do, being repeatedly told by a female steward to return to his seat. 

He responded by saying, ‘This is a f**king joke,’ Abigail Day, prosecuting, told Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court, adding that Moynihan ‘was clearly drunk’.

‘A passenger had also noticed he smelled of alcohol,’ she said, adding that passengers began filming him.
