A finance worker who stole more than £91,000 from a breast cancer charity to fund his luxury wedding in Qatar has been jailed.
Tameem Choudhury, 29, diverted funds from The Royal Marsden hospital into his own bank account – spending more than £49,000 in just two days.
Choudhury, who described himself as ‘borderline broke’ in messages to friends, also made payments to debt collection agencies, and transferred money to family members.
His account was eventually closed by Santander due to ‘suspicious activity’ – leaving £42,866.25 inside.
