The creator of Peppa Pig has been targeted by a Romanian crime gang who broke into his £10million Surrey mansion and stole £65,000 of luxury items.

Radu Dogaru, 41, and Adrian Alempi, 34, raided Mark Baker’s 12,500sqft home after he and his wife left at around 7pm on Valentine’s Day this year.

The couple locked the doors to their home  – which boasts a pool, spa complex, cinema and gym – but failed to properly set up the alarm system.

When they returned at 8.30pm, they discovered they had been burgled with 15 designer bags, a Rolex watch and jewellery all missing.
