Lady Gaga and her fiance Michael Polansky welcomed their first child together via a surrogate, it’s been revealed.

The 40-year-old singer’s daughter, named Rose Bean Polansky, was born on June 9 at 11.19pm at Los Angeles‘s famed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with the pair opting to use a surrogate, according to TMZ.

While the reason for surrogacy remains unclear, the hitmaker has long been open about her battle with fibromyalgia, a condition that causes severe pain and exhaustion.
