Kyle MacLachlan has revealed how he apologised to his ex-girlfriend Laura Dern for his affair with Twin Peaks co-star Lara Flynn Boyle in front of their friends.
The American actor, 67, was in a relationship with the Big Little Lies star, 59, for four years from 1985, after meeting on the set of the Blue Velvet movie.
However, Kyle has now said he ‘wasn’t his best self’ during their romance after cheating on Laura with actress Lara in a years-long affair.
After the film launched his Hollywood career, Kyle was offered a part in mystery drama Twin Peaks, where he met Lara, now 56.
