Top barristers are accustomed to being told they are marvellous at their jobs with impeccable credentials.
But thanks to a computer error unredacted reviews informed some of the best lawyers in the country that they are actually: ‘sloppy, disorganised and indecisive’.
The website Legal500 gathers testimony from clients and peers before producing a list of the best barristers and law firms every year.
The reviews are well known amongst lawyers for their flowery praise and flattery.
But on Thursday unredacted reviews were accidentally uploaded onto Legal500’s website, causing uproar in law firms because they presented a rather different picture.
