More than 37,000 squishy dumpling toys sold in the US have been recalled over fears they could pose a deadly health hazard.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced two recalls of the products Thursday, warning that if children swallowed the beads within the toys, these could expand and cause choking or a potentially fatal obstruction in the intestines.
It issued an alert for 37,000 of the toys sold by ABC Trading. The alert affected two squishy dumpling toys distributed nationwide by the brand, which were its Squishy Dumpling Toys and Crazy Squib Ball Toys.
