Two women have been arrested after a three-year-old boy fell from a first-floor window.
Emergency services raced to a property after the youngster plunged to the ground from a home in Spotland Tops, Rochdale, on Saturday afternoon.
An air ambulance was also deployed and landed close to the area shortly after 4.15pm.
The toddler was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition, Greater Manchester Police said.
The suspects, aged 19 and 20, were arrested at a property in Blackburn earlier today on suspicion of causing a serious injury to a child.
