In recent months, reports of ‘disaster’ trips booked through online travel company Loveholidays appear to be on the rise, with a string of complaints and incidents emerging from unhappy holidaymakers.

The latest victim of alleged ‘hotel catfishing’ is Tracy Haslam, who booked a £4,000 family holiday to Tunisia through the website, only to arrive and discover her hotel was located on the site of an elderly care home.
